Strategy & Execution

LensOnline is the largest supplier of contact lenses online in Europe. They offer 100% original contact lenses from well known manufacturers. Thanks to their cooperation with more than 120 opticians within Europe it is possible to order contact lenses online and pick them up at one of the opticians nearby.

Lensonline will offer a free eye examination at the nearest optician to generate traffic to the optician. They add a geomarketing map with the route from the clients home to the nearest optician. By doing this Lensonline makes it visible & personal for the client.

Reason best Practice

As I wear daily contact lenses myself, I’m very enthousiastic by this paper mailing.
It is very smart to contact existing clients to buy a new set of their daily contacts, so they will not change to another online contact lens retailer.
At the same time they give clients an extra service by offering a free examination of their eyes at an optician in the clients neighbourhood.
Lensonline adds a personal layer to the mailing by adding a geo map with the optician nearest by for that particualer client. The fact that you can see an optician for you specifi eye condition creates trust.
